Mobile Source Enforcement Memorandum 1A, allows for aftermarket parts to be used in the repair or replacement of emissions control systems, provided the emissions aren't adversely affected. There is no mention or reference to cell density or converter volume dimension. Our EPA compliant catalytic converter will produce emissions that will meet or exceed the standards set by the EPA.

PLM got these headers out to me in about a week after I dropped the Hanmer on the purchase. Headers appears to be solid quality(good welds, quality steel).
Everything I needed to do the install on my own regarding hardware was included(bolted right up to my stock overpipe without fittament issues).
O2 sensors don't seem to have an issue with the highflow cat over the stock one(but I am also running an o2 spacer to be sage). Regardless, no CEL/fault codes so far after driving 135 miles with it so far.
Sound is amazing. Paired with my Berk frontpipe with a high flow cat/no resononator and an MXP Comp RS catback, the headers give you a deep, loud(but not overwhelmingly loud) bassy subie rumble. Definitely glad I went wiry the PLM, especially for the price.
These headers are worth the price, and are more affordable in comparison to other aftermarket unequal length catted headers, with great performance gains and quality craftsmanship. Installing this is very simple, you only need a 22mm open end wrench for the oxygen sensors, and a 14mm deep socket with extensions and a swivel joint. Not only do you negate the torque dip from the ZN6 and ZN8 chassis of GT86 and BRZs, but you get the iconic Subaru grumble that every Subaru motor should have. Worth the price, pick one up if you can!
